Digital Marketing Analyst

The Digital Marketing Analyst plays a vital role in all digital marketing initiatives for EVR’s growing client base while being an active member of the Creative and Digital Team. Reporting to the Digital Services Director, this is a key role for driving results across all SEO, Paid, Social and Content Marketing Campaigns. The Digital Marketing Analyst will help produce bi-monthly and quarterly reports for client campaigns that will help drive strategic insights and demonstrate a measureable ROI.

Specific responsibilities include (70%):

  • Execute daily, weekly and monthly tasks as it relates to pay-per-click, paid social media, and online display campaigns. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Keyword research, management and ongoing optimization
  • Conversion rate and cost per conversion analysis
  • Ad placements, Behavioral and Contextual Targeting, and Remarketing Campaigns
  • Tracking and recording user engagement measures across paid visits
  • Communicating these results to team members and clients alike

Search Engine Optimization (20%)

  • Identifying keywords and optimizing websites in strategic areas such as page title, meta data, headlines, alt tags, etc.
  • Provide historical analytics review for trend comparisons.
  • Determine search volume and relative competition/difficulty score as well as search trends.
  • Develop core and topical content suggestions provided based on keyword research.
  • Rank competitor domain authority, back-links and link building campaigns.

Content Marketing/Social Media/Department Tasks (10%)

  • Contribute to broader planning and proposal documents
  • Work with digital team on implementing and monitoring marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Aid the development of landing page design, optimization and A/B testing.
  • Work closely with other team members to align digital and content strategy across platforms and ad channels.
  • Attend select client meetings and new business meetings


Candidates for this position must have a minimum of one year of executing digital/social tasks. A successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills and a strong desire to keep up with the evolving digital world. Positive, team-oriented attitude, strong work ethic, ability to excel in a deadline driven environment. Other requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, information technology or similar field
  • Google Adwords Certified (Preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Experience with managing digital content across a wide spectrum of digital channels
  • Strong writing and editing skills, within digitally focused environments
  • Possess a understanding of the digital world as it relates to:
  • User experience design
  • Mobile and web-based applications
  • Major social media networks
  • Marketing Automation Software platforms like Hubspot, SharpSpring or Pardot
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, Drupal, MySQL databases and basic publishing software
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, SEMRush, Facebook Advertising, LinkedIn Advertising and other social ad platforms.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
  • Hyper focused attention to detail and multi-tasking a must
  • Desire and willingness to learn and stay ahead of the curve on new technologies
