Playing a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing digital campaigns, this role requires a data-driven, analytical thinker to work cross-functionally with media, accounts and creative teams to deliver strategic, results-oriented campaigns.
The Senior Digital Marketing Manager takes a lead role in planning, implementing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns as a key member of EVR’s growing digital media team. As part of this role, the SDMM will work alongside the Media Director in leading strategy and execution. The right candidate will be inquisitive, motivated and thrive in a culture of ongoing learning and problem solving.
Digital Marketing Campaign Leadership
- Develop and manage digital campaigns across Paid Search, Programmatic, Display, Paid Social, YouTube, OTT/CTV, Streaming Audio, etc.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to align campaign strategies with client goals and past performance.
- Use first- and third-party data to inform targeting, audience segmentation, and geographic strategy.
- Present media recommendations and rationale to internal teams and clients.
Analytics Set-up and Tracking
- Build and manage UTM-tagged URLs, tracking pixels (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.) and VAST tags.
- Use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to deploy and troubleshoot tags and conversion events.
- Have the ability to configure and validate conversion events using GTM, platform-specific tools, and analytics platforms.
Ad Platform Management and Analytics
- Facilitate digital campaign launches and manage budgets/pacing/data-driven optimizations by ad platform including:
- Google’s Ads Platforms including:
- Paid Search Management
- Keyword research, and planning
- Effective text ad development
- Ongoing management and optimization
- Reporting of success and recommendations for improvement
- Google Display
- Performance Max (PMax)
- YouTube
- Paid Search Management
- Paid Social (META, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.)
- Programmatic Media
- OTT/CTV
- Streaming Audio
- Google’s Ads Platforms including:
- Plan, execute, and measure A/B experiments and conversion tests.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) using various tools (Ad platforms, GA4, Call Rail, etc.)
- Collaborate with the account team on reporting cadence and format (email updates, LookerStudio dashboards and PowerPoint presentations)
- Ability to present results in client meetings (virtual and in-person) with confidence and clarity.
Client Relationship Management (CRM) Analysis
- Connect digital marketing activity to client CRM data
- Analyze campaign performance across the entire client sales funnel
- Understand the business lifecycle and full sales process to be able to interact and respond to client inquiries.
- Build LookerStudio dashboards and performance presentations to demonstrate ROI
- Use AI to help process large amounts of data in order to develop a narrative around ongoing strategy, results and recommendations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of developing, managing and implementing paid digital marketing and social campaigns.
- Must have a passion for numbers, data, budgeting and Excel while possessing an analytics-first mindset
- Strong client-facing presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of advertising and marketing trends, and digital media strategy.
- Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and frequently adjust to changing priorities and timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding commitment to customer service.
- Ability to present ideas, problem solve and negotiate.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization and time management.
- Strong knowledge of ad platforms (Google Ads, META Ads, etc), analytics tools (GA4, LookerStudio, SuperMetrics etc) and SEM tools (Google Search Console)
- Experience with incorporating AI into the marketing process is a plus.
