Manchester, NH — Last month, Christine Rival, Vice President of Operations at EVR Advertising, joined fellow New Hampshire residents in a bold act of compassion by rappelling 24 stories down Brady Sullivan Tower to support grieving children and teens across the state.
The event was part of Over the Edge, a multi-charity fundraiser that supports nearly 20 organizations. Christine chose to raise funds for Friends of Aine, the only nonprofit in New Hampshire solely dedicated to providing free grief support to children and families after the death of a loved one. “I rappelled 24 stories because I believe no child should grieve alone,” said Christine. “When I learned that one in twelve children in New Hampshire will lose a parent or sibling before age 18, I knew I had to act. These are not just numbers—they are kids in our communities, quietly struggling with unimaginable loss.”
Christine was joined by two other teammates, forming a three-woman team that collectively raised over $3,500 to support Friends of Aine’s mission. The funds will help expand community programs—including grief kits and training in more than 140 schools across seven counties, in-school support groups and professional development to help educators recognize and respond to grief.
Christine’s courageous effort reflects EVR’s ongoing commitment to the communities where we live and work. Together, through compassion, courage and community, we move closer to a world where no child grieves alone.
