Jeff was destined to be an entrepreneurial marketer from a young age. At 12, he was the clubhouse boy for the Memphis Blues AA baseball team. When the players started asking him to go buy them hot dogs in between doubleheaders, the entrepreneurial seed was planted. Jeff started making ham-and-cheese sandwiches and sold them to the players—his first profitable business venture.
From these roots, Jeff moved on to a career in marketing and advertising, cultivating his skills during many years in professional sports marketing with the Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers, Buffalo Sabres and Los Angeles Kings. Among his most rewarding experiences was launching an AHL hockey franchise in 2000 for the Kings in Manchester, NH. The state of New Hampshire quickly embraced the Manchester Monarchs, and the team became regarded as one of the premier minor pro franchises in the country.
Now, as owner and president of EVR Advertising, Jeff collaborates with business owners and executives to grow their businesses through market research, branding initiatives, marketing and media tactics, digital solutions, public relations and social media. Jeff believes that within the agency, it’s about assimilating talent and fostering personal growth. Done right, EVR will continue to deliver great results for clients.
Jeff holds a B.S. in economics from Vanderbilt University and an M.S. from the University of Massachusetts.
